Of all the types of music you play, which type is your favorite?

Well, I think I listen to jazz more than I listen to anything else. I think the music I really like playing the most is playing with the Philharmonic. Not only because of the music but because, well probably 50 percent because of the music , but so much of the time I’m just so awed by these wonderful players that I’ve been getting to play with and that’s been such a big factor in my career having this opportunity to play this great music with these great players. If you had to back in me in a corner I’d have to say that’s the music I’ve had the most enjoyment. But I’ve had a lot of enjoyment playing jazz and playing with good jazz musicians. I guess what I’ve enjoyed the most is just being around good musicians, no matter what it is. I like a lot of different kinds of music.
